Beyond manufacturing, Philadelphia Gear offers inspection and upgrade services, particularly for plants using earlier rolling mill designs. A leader in bringing carburized and ground technology to this area, Philadelphia Gear can inspect gearing to determine metallurgy and AGMA quality. Plus, if needed, we can increase load carrying capacity within the existing unit size, by utilizing upgraded gear element designs and processes (tooth contact improves by providing more accurate gearing).
