white paper titled Acoustic Properties of Industrial Machinery:
Design techniques to minimize gear drive radiated noise. The document
is written to help manufacturers manage equipment-generated noise
in the workplace.

Noise tolerance of personnel and equipment, including
present regulations and controls;
