Job Title: Metallurgist – King of Prussia, PA

Philadelphia Gear has a current full-time opening for a Metallurgist at our Main Office and Technical Center in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.

The requirements/duties of the position are as follows:

• Minimum five years in the field of Metallurgy
• Proficient in the areas of material selection, heat treatment, non-destructive testing, welding and thermal process control
• Bachelors Degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Metallurgy, or Materials Science is required
• Responsibilities include: maintain and improve all metallurgical practices to assure compliance to ISO 9001:2008, serve as Level III for NDT Disciplines of MT, UT, & VT, approve and surveillance vendors of material, heat treat and welding processes
• Ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner and strong communications skills
• Strong computer skills
